The Link CBS Doesn't Want You To See...

Well, maybe I wouldn't go that far. But if you've been following Ra^thergate mess and wondering how this entire fiasco was possible (How could Rather put up such obvious forgeries? Who would even bother making such obvious forgeries? Why did the White House release the documents? Even if he didn't authenticate the documents before, why didn't Rather apologize when the fake aspect came to light?), you MUST READ THIS.

Is is accurate? Maybe. As far as my opinion goes I think that, even if it isn't accurate, it is extremely close to the truth (isn't that the standard for journalism these days?). Seriously, Daniel Wiener makes a very astute assesment of the facts and, as long as you keep in mind that it is an unproven hypothesis (made several days before CBS apologized), it is extremely worthwhile reading.
